A contract occupational therapy assistant role is available in Peyton, CO, serving two charter schools in the Aurora area. This position offers a 28-hour workweek, providing the opportunity to support students in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with school staff and therapists to develop and implement therapy plans.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with classroom activities and sensory programs as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and therapists to support student development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and regulations.
