Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in New Hampshire (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school settings or with adolescent populations is highly valued
  • Strong skills in tailoring interventions to individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable managing a focused, one-on-one caseload

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy support to a single 15-year-old student based on their individualized education plan (IEP)
  • Utilize engaging activities to foster skill retention, independence, and participation in daily routines
  • Document daily sessions, progress, and recommendations in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Maintain open, supportive communication with education staff and family members
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment that encourages student confidence and growth
