Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 26/27 School Year

We are actively seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a specialized school team in Providence, Rhode Island. This role serves students with high needs and severe disabilities and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule
• High-needs, severe caseload
• Safety-Care Training provided
• Supportive school team and leadership
• Director is ready to interview this week

Responsibilities:

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct support to students in individual and group settings
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers
• Support students in developing functional, academic, and life skills

Qualifications:

• Active Rhode Island COTA license/certification
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience working with students with significant disabilities and behavioral challenges is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
