Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania state license as a COTA and required clearances
- Experience or background in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Familiarity with elementary-age student needs a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary educational team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Support the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans within the school environment
- Document student progress and maintain appropriate records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student independence and participation in school activities
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance student success
