This contract position is designed for compassionate professionals ready to make a meaningful difference in elementary school settings during the 2026-2027 school year. With a steady 35-hour work week, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with students and educators, tailoring interventions to help every child succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Pennsylvania state license as a COTA and required clearances
  • Experience or background in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Familiarity with elementary-age student needs a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary educational team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans within the school environment
  • Document student progress and maintain appropriate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student independence and participation in school activities
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance student success
