Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active COTA license in California, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services to pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Adaptability and problem-solving ability in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR/L
  • Work one-on-one and in group settings with students to help improve daily living and academic-related skills
  • Collect and track data to monitor student progress, participating in IEP meetings as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, families, and other service providers
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with applicable regulations and district standards
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment that empowers students to reach their highest potential
