Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with current COTA certification
  • Experience or interest in working with school-aged children (K-12)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
  • Comfortable working independently with remote supervision

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as specified in IEPs and educational plans
  • Implement therapy strategies developed in collaboration with the virtual OT supervisor
  • Collect and document data on student progress, reporting findings as required
  • Participate in meetings with educational staff and families, providing input on student needs and goals
  • Assist in developing instructional materials and modifications to enhance accessibility and promote student success in the classroom
