This full-time, onsite role spans the entire school year and offers you the chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of 55 students in grades K–8. Qualifications:
- Active COTA certification, with current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Effective organizational skills to manage caseload documentation
- Ability to adapt interventions and strategies to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver supportive occupational therapy services to K–8 students as outlined by IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success and inclusion
- Help students develop or improve functional skills required for academic participation
- Maintain detailed treatment documentation and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize creative resources and evidence-based strategies to engage and motivate students
