Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active COTA certification required
• Experience in a school-based setting or a strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to implement and follow individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Skilled in using a wide range of therapy techniques and adaptive tools appropriate for school-aged children
• Proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong organizational skills
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide support for students’ classroom participation, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living
• Assist in evaluating students’ progress and maintaining thorough, accurate documentation
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on therapy goals
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Adapt interventions and materials to meet each student’s needs and promote independence
