Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
  • Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and relevant documentation
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with therapists, teachers, and families
  • Compassionate, proactive, and adaptable approach to individualized student care

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, following individualized student plans
  • Conduct small group and one-on-one interventions addressing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities
  • Document all therapy sessions and student progress to contribute to IEP team meetings
  • Assist in developing accommodations that support student participation in classroom activities
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
