School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Rillito, Arizona

Make an impact in K-12 education as a Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students with diverse needs in a dynamic school setting near Rillito, AZ. This full-time, full-school-year (FT/FSY) role offers the opportunity to provide valuable services across approximately three school sites, working with children who have mild to severe needs.

Qualifications:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with an active state license
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students who have mild to severe needs
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Willingness to travel between school sites as an itinerant provider
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt strategies to support student progress
• Travel between assigned school locations to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
• Participate in assessments, team meetings, and training sessions
