You'll work day hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, collaborating closely with occupational therapists, special educators, and families to help students achieve their goals. Compensation ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, determined by your skills and experience.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification and licensure as a COTA in California
• Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required
• Strong background in healthcare-related occupational therapy assistance
• Comfortable adapting support plans for students’ unique learning and developmental needs
• Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with therapists, teachers, and parents
• Organized, flexible, and able to multitask in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services and support to students as outlined by supervising occupational therapist
• Assist with implementing IEP goals through therapeutic interventions in classrooms and small groups
• Document student progress, maintain accurate service logs, and participate in team meetings
• Help with adaptive strategies to support student learning and classroom participation
