Key Qualifications:

  • Current COTA certification and eligibility to work in California
  • At least 1 year of pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Experience supporting children with diverse physical, sensory, and learning needs
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Ability to travel between assigned schools within the district area
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and organized in managing caseloads

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students per IEP requirements
  • Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists and educational staff on student interventions
  • Engage in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team discussions as needed
  • Adapt interventions and support tools to fit the unique needs of each student

Compensation: Enjoy competitive pay starting around $50 per hour, with the possibility for higher rates based on extensive pediatric experience.
