School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Location: Rumford, Maine area
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Setting: School-based, K–12

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students across a K–12 caseload in the Rumford area.

Position Details

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across K–12

• Support students in reaching individualized educational and functional goals

• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions under the direction of an occupational therapist

• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary school-based team

Schedule

• 40 hours per week

• Full-time school-based position

Qualifications

• Active Maine COTA license required

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively with students across a wide range of ages and needs
