Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by an Occupational Therapist
  • Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering occupational therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support the development of students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Collect and record data to track student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure integrated support for students
  • Prepare instructional materials and adapt classroom activities to meet student needs
