Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Sacramento, CA | K–12

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based opportunity in Sacramento, California. This position will support a K–12 caseload throughout the full school year and is ideal for a COTA who enjoys helping students build the functional skills needed for success in the educational environment.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement therapy interventions and activities based on students’ IEP goals and treatment plans.
- Support students with fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.
- Collect and document student progress data.
- Maintain accurate therapy and service documentation.
- Collaborate with the supervising OT, teachers, families, related service providers, and other school staff.
- Assist with strategies, accommodations, and adaptive tools to support student participation and independence.

Qualifications:

- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active or eligible California COTA licensure
- NBCOT certification, as applicable
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience supporting K–12 students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
