Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with children or within school settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

What You’ll Do:

• Provide approximately three hours per week of direct services to students, focusing on their occupational therapy needs as identified in their IEPs
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other student support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in IEP meetings, supporting creation and adjustment of student plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of each student’s progress and session outcomes
• Engage in ongoing, professional communication with Dr. Bonner and the rest of the educational support staff
• Contribute ideas and feedback to strengthen therapy services and overall student achievement
