Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Follow treatment plans and interventions designed by supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Work directly with students to develop or restore functional skills needed in the school environment
  • Document and track student progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate and communicate with teachers, staff, and families to coordinate care and maximize effectiveness
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
