Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA licensure in Missouri (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Prior experience or practicum in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy interventions for middle and high school students
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services, implementing IEPs for students in grades 6-12
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to intervention planning for individual students
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and family members to support student progress
  • Document services and maintain detailed student records according to school and state requirements
  • Promote students’ participation in daily school activities through adaptive strategies and skill-building exercises
