A short-term Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available in Salinas, CA, supporting school-based therapy services across four sites, including two primary and two middle schools. This full-time role requires providing skilled occupational therapy to a caseload of 57 students over a 9-week maternity leave assignment, starting at the end of January or early February.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in school settings, addressing developmental and functional needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques for diverse student needs across multiple grade levels.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school personnel.

  • Current certification as a COTA with valid licensure as required.
  • Experience working within school environments preferred.
