An opportunity is available for a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support in a K-12 school environment. This full-time, short-term contract role involves delivering occupational therapy services across multiple educational sites, enabling students to achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored occupational therapy interventions to a caseload of 57 students.
  • Deliver services across four school sites, including two primary and two middle schools.
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs within the school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential is required.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver services across multiple locations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational environment.

Location:

  • Salinas, CA

Contract Details:

  • Full-time position (7.7 hours per day)
  • Short-term contract covering a 9-week maternity leave absence
  • Expected start date between late January and early February
