Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA license in the state of California
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with OTs, educators, and families
- Ability to document progress and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adaptable and compassionate, focused on student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing therapy services for students with various needs.
- Carry out treatment plans and interventions to help students develop fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Update records and communicate progress with supervising therapists and other school staff.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment by adapting activities and materials as needed.
- Support students individually and in small groups, both in classroom and therapy room settings.
