A short-term position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is available in San Jose, CA, supporting school-aged children across multiple educational settings. This full-time contract role involves working 7.7 hours daily to cover a 9-week maternity leave assignment starting from late January or early February.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy support to students across four school sites (two primary and two middle schools)
• Manage a caseload of approximately 57 students with diverse therapy needs
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to implement therapy plans
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to school guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current California licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings
• Ability to effectively manage a large caseload and adapt to different age groups
• Strong communication skills to liaise with school personnel and families
