An opportunity is available for a Short-term Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students across multiple school sites in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time position involves a 7.7-hour workday and requires coverage for a 9-week maternity leave assignment, starting from late January or early February. The role spans four sites, including two primary and two middle schools, providing therapy services to a caseload of 57 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assistance to students with diverse needs across primary and middle school settings.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
  • Manage documentation and compliance with school and district regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to support student development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 students.
