This full-time position involves a 7.7-hour workday and requires coverage for a 9-week maternity leave assignment, starting from late January or early February. The role spans four sites, including two primary and two middle schools, providing therapy services to a caseload of 57 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assistance to students with diverse needs across primary and middle school settings.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
- Manage documentation and compliance with school and district regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to support student development.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 students.
