School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Schnecksville, Pennsylvania

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• Current NBCOT certification as a COTA
• Experience working with children or adolescents, especially within schools or special education
• Ability to work flexibly within Carbon and/or Lehigh County
• Willingness to support students with diverse needs and disabilities
• Comfortable adhering to a weekday, school-based schedule of up to 35 hours per week
• Must be available for an in-person interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student participation and success
• Complete documentation and progress tracking in line with school and regulatory requirements
• Adapt activities and environments to enhance student learning and engagement
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards as set forth by Pennsylvania requirements and NBCOT
