Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current COTA certification and Washington state licensure (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working with pediatric/ school-based populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Collaborative mindset for working across multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adjust interventions to meet the diverse needs of students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized therapy plans under the direction of supervising occupational therapists
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills
• Deliver therapy in both one-on-one and group settings within the educational setting
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed, contributing observations and suggestions for student programming
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to optimize student participation and engagement
