The role offers flexibility, with both part-time (20 hours weekly) and full-time (up to 37.5 hours weekly) schedules available, running from August 2026 through May 2027. School-based experience and a passion for enhancing students’ lives are key elements for success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Oklahoma licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L)
  • School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
  • Experience or training in healthcare or educational settings beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families
  • Committed to supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under supervision of an OT
  • Assist in implementing IEP goals and participate in student evaluations
  • Support teacher and classroom staff with strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain timely progress notes and documentation
  • Collaborate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
  • Adapt interventions creatively to meet individual student needs
