Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Simpsonville, SC

This assignment will begin tentatively around February 16th, 2027, and extend through May 14th, 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference in school communities. Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in South Carolina
• Previous experience working in schools or pediatrics strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to support students across multiple school locations

Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with one of the district’s Occupational Therapists, providing therapy at assigned elementary schools
• Deliver direct treatment sessions to 9–10 students per day, typically in 30-minute increments
• Implement IEP goals and therapy plans, maintaining accurate documentation for each session
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families, contributing to the students’ progress and well-being
• Travel between multiple school sites as assigned during the contract period
