Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Valid COTA certification required

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student-focused interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists with the implementation of individualized student treatment plans
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and family members to facilitate effective interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
• Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape measurable goals for each student
• Encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment where each student’s unique abilities are celebrated
