Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active COTA certification required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not mandatory
- Ability to effectively collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience or comfort working across diverse age ranges (K-12)
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OTR/L
- Supporting students in achieving academic and developmental goals
- Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records for each student
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as requested
- Helping adapt classroom materials and environments to support students’ varied needs
