Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Organizational skills and adaptability in changing school environments
• Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized occupational therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Work with students in group and one-on-one settings, focusing on developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Track and report student progress, documenting sessions in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents to identify student needs and strategies
• Support the ongoing development of creative, engaging therapy resources for classroom integration
