  • Caseload: 35–40 students

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other team members
  • Comfortable managing a varied caseload and adapting to the evolving needs of students
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapeutic interventions as directed by an occupational therapist, supporting students’ IEP goals
  • Assist in developing activities that foster fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
  • Document student progress and report meaningful updates to the educational team
  • Work closely with classroom staff to integrate therapy strategies in daily routines
  • Encourage student independence and positive participation within the school community
  • Uphold best practices and comply with all ethical and professional standards
