Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active COTA certification
• Licensed (or eligibility for licensure) as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in California
• Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, educators, and other school staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Support students’ academic and functional skill development
• Document student progress and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with stakeholders regarding student needs and progress
• Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
