A contract position is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work full-time onsite with an Early Learning Center caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. Based near Tacoma, this opportunity allows you to have a direct positive impact on students in early developmental stages, fostering new milestones and independence.

Enjoy a rewarding schedule from ASAP through June 23, 2027, working 37.5 hours per week in a collaborative and welcoming educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active Washington State COTA or OT license required
  • Fingerprinting completed through OSPI
  • Previous COTA experience in a school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with Early Learning Center caseloads desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with occupational therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed OT
  • Assist with assessments, direct therapy, and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings
  • Deliver all services onsite in accordance with school procedures and best practices
