Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Successful completion of an accredited COTA program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
• Ability to develop rapport with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and commitment to supporting educational goals

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists
• Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Assessing student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ access to learning environments
• Assisting in the adaptation of materials and activities to improve student participation and independence
• Engaging with families and staff to ensure continuity of care and support
