Step into an impactful educational environment providing occupational therapy support for K-12 students across four schools—two elementary, one middle, and one high—spanning an engaging district near University Park, PA. This contract opportunity runs from August 25, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll work closely with a dedicated onsite district Occupational Therapist who will guide and supervise, ensuring you have both independence and support as you deliver high-quality care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license is required
  • Previous experience as a COTA, preferably working with school-aged populations
  • Ability to adapt to supporting multiple school sites within the district
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with therapists, students, and educators
  • Responsible, flexible, and organized in managing caseloads across various age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy interventions implementing student treatment plans under the OT’s supervision
  • Assist in adapting activities to help students meet educational and functional goals
  • Document student progress and communicate results to supervising OT and staff
  • Travel between assigned buildings as scheduled
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold district standards for student care and safety
  • Participate in staff meetings, IEP teams, and professional development as needed
