What We’re Looking For:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Understanding of IEPs and education-based therapy approaches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Solid organizational skills with a solution-focused mindset
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Passion to empower children and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans in the school setting
  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions to students
  • Assist with evaluations and documentation in accordance with school district guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, other professionals, and families to maximize student achievement
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward established goals
  • Support the development of fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to help students succeed in their academic environment
