Step into a full-time opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting elementary students during the upcoming school year. This on-site, contract position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with placements beginning in mid-August and continuing through early June. You’ll work directly on campus, providing essential occupational therapy services that help young learners reach their fullest potential—both academically and personally.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Current, active COTA license in California (required)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to support elementary-age students in a classroom and small group setting
  • Comfortable working full days, five days a week, throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Document progress and support educators and families with targeted therapy goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to facilitate the participation of students in daily school activities
  • Employ evidence-based strategies and creative modifications to increase student independence and success
  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on student progress
