Desired Qualifications:
- Active COTA license, with eligibility to practice in educational or healthcare settings
- Experience in a school or pediatric healthcare environment preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, therapists, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet individual student needs
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an OTR in accordance with IEP goals and best practices
- Assist in developing and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to support academic and developmental progress
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
- Participate in, and contribute to, IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance to classroom staff on best practices for facilitating student growth and independence
