Apply NowEmbark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Bethlehem, PA area and surrounding communities. For the 2026-2027 school year, you’ll play an essential role in providing direct therapeutic services that foster student independence and functional skills in the educational setting.
This full-time assignment is scheduled for 35 hours each week, focusing on the unique needs of an elementary school caseload. Your expertise will help ensure students receive the interventions and guidance to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license and up-to-date state clearances
- Experience collaborating with educators, related service providers, and families to maximize student progress
- Prior work in pediatric or school-based environments strongly preferred
- Reliable communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising Occupational Therapist
- Support IEP implementation by assisting students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings to review and update student progress
- Communicate regularly with other professionals and family members to support student outcomes
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere within the school community
