This assignment begins August 18, 2026, and continues through July 30, 2027, offering consistent weekday hours from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM and a steady weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. You'll support a growing caseload that starts around 30 children and may rise to approximately 50 by year’s end.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to preschool and childcare students as directed by supervising Occupational Therapists
- Assist in the development, adaptation, and implementation of therapy activities suited to each child's individual needs
- Help maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for student services
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
