Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability and a passion for enhancing student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapeutic activities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support students with fine and gross motor development to help them thrive academically and socially
  • Assist in creating and adapting materials for classroom participation
  • Accurately document progress and communicate findings with staff and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
