Exciting opportunities are available for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to work with schools in the Carbon and Lehigh Counties area for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract position offers up to 35 hours per week, aligning with the assigned school calendar. You’ll provide vital occupational therapy support to students and collaborate with educational professionals in a rewarding, dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
  • Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Demonstrated experience working with students; school-based or special education settings strongly preferred
  • Willingness and ability to work in both Carbon and/or Lehigh County as needed
  • Comfortable providing services to students with disabilities, supporting their growth and participation in school activities
  • Availability for a school-day schedule of up to 35 hours weekly for the duration of the school year
  • Capable of attending an in-person interview as part of the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to their individual education plans
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and parents to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports as required by school administration
  • Adapt interventions to help students participate fully in classroom activities and school routines
