School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Williamsburg, Virginia

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through high school as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). With a caseload of 50-55 students, you’ll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and experienced therapists to help young learners reach their full potential. This contract runs through June 2027, offering both stability and a chance to build strong connections with your school community.

Your days will be engaging and diverse—working 37.5 hours per week with students across various grade levels and backgrounds. You’ll deliver interventions according to individualized education plans, support skill development for daily living and classroom participation, and document progress throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active COTA license (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity)
• Strong background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
• Understanding of IEP processes and relevant documentation requirements
• Excellent collaboration skills and communication abilities
• Adaptability when working with students of varying abilities in K-12 settings
