This contract position involves working across three school sites near Wilmington, IL. Key Qualifications:
- Valid COTA license in the state
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Organization and adaptability to work across multiple sites
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Develop and adapt activities to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities
- Document progress and collaborate on student evaluations and reports
- Travel between three school sites as assigned, ensuring continuity in student care
- Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and family consultations as needed
This is a full-time Monday-Friday role, with hours from 8:30am to 3:45pm. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, offering the chance to make a positive impact in a supportive learning environment.
