Experience a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential support to students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a school-based setting near Woodland, CA. This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with students, teachers, and therapists to promote student growth and independence.

As a valued team member, you will:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress and participation in school activities
  • Document student performance, progress, and observations in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Provide input for IEP meetings and support data collection for student goals
  • Adapt activities and modify materials to facilitate student engagement in classroom routines

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), licensed to practice in California
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards working with children and adolescents

This contract role offers a competitive pay range from $35 to $45 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.
