Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as determined by their individual education plans (IEPs)
• Support the lead occupational therapist in assessments, data collection, and developing intervention plans
• Document therapy sessions and student progress per school and state guidelines
• Assist with development and adaptation of classroom materials or activities
• Engage with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
• Encourage students to develop fine motor, visual perception, and daily living skills
