This contract opportunity spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year, starting August 13, 2026, and offers both part-time and full-time schedules to fit your needs. You’ll work onsite, collaborating with educators and licensed Occupational Therapists to create a positive educational experience for children and teens, helping them meet their goals and thrive in the classroom setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Oklahoma certification as a Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L)
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy or healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Enthusiasm for supporting students’ physical and educational development
- Strong organizational skills and attention to student progress and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), documenting progress and adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate students’ participation in school activities
- Support the creation of a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Monitor and record student outcomes, maintaining accurate records in accordance with district standards
