School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Zuni, New Mexico

Make an impact as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant supporting students across four schools, working with Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with a total of 37.5 hours each week. You'll deliver direct occupational therapy services in both group and individual settings, working with a caseload of 50-75 students each week in 30-60 minute sessions.

Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico COTA licensure
• Valid NM education certificate
• Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable approach to varied grade levels and needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to Pre-K through 12th grade students across four schools
• Conduct thorough assessments and implement individualized activity plans
• Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
• Keep accurate documentation of services and student progress
• Consult with families and educational teams to support student growth and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed and provide input on goal-setting
