Location: Approximately 30 minutes north of the Fargo metropolitan area, North Dakota

Position Summary

The High School Counselor supports students' academic achievement, college and career readiness, and social-emotional development through a comprehensive school counseling program.

* Academic Advising
* College and Career Planning
* Crisis Intervention

Qualifications

Master's Degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Current North Dakota School Counselor Credential issued by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board (ESPB), or eligibility to obtain prior to employment.

 Valid North Dakota Educator License, or eligibility for licensure.
Successful completion of all state-required background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a high school counselor.
Experience implementing SEL curriculum.
Experience providing individual and group counseling services.
Experience with case management and student support planning.
Knowledge of college and career readiness programming.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
