Enjoy consistent daytime hours—typically 8:00 to 4:30, with slight adjustments based on campus schedules. Work approximately 25 hours per week, balancing your professional growth with personal time. You’ll have the opportunity to provide individual counseling to a manageable caseload of around 22 students, fostering meaningful relationships and measurable progress.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active counselor credentials appropriate for schools (state requirements apply)
• Background in individual counseling and supporting students’ social-emotional needs
• Proficiency in IEP development, documentation, and compliance
• Experience participating in ARD meetings or a similar multidisciplinary team setting
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with school policies and sensitivity to diverse student populations

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver individual counseling sessions that support students’ academic and emotional development
• Complete all IEP paperwork with accuracy and attention to deadlines
• Participate in ARD meetings to contribute insights and advocate for students’ needs
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
