Desired Background & Required Credentials:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Valid Texas School Counselor Certificate issued by SBEC, with one of the following licenses:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
• Experience serving as a counselor within a school environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to support students with special education needs
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities You’ll Take On:

• Provide individual and group counseling for K-12 students, addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Conduct behavior threat assessments and collaborate with administration regarding student safety
